Module 8 Capstone Assignment
The Capstone Assignment is an 10-12 page paper (excluding cover page and reference page) and must include a minimum of 10 sources
from the library. You may include additional sources from other reputable websites, textbooks, and journals but these should be in
addition to the 10 sources from the library.
Building on your Case Assignment, you will focus on how to plan, implement and evaluate the program/agency/organization using the
information that you have gained from this program.
In an 10-12 page paper (not including title and reference pages), create the following three sections within your paper:
PLAN:
Identify a key purpose and population that your organization or program would focus on serving and specify what services
would need to be provided for this population. Use research to support why these services are important for this population.
Plan how you will you recruit and hire appropriate staff to provide these services. What key education or experience will
you be looking for in hiring these positions? What specific management techniques will be important to utilize with these
staff members?
Construct a thorough financial budget for the program/organization that you will manage. The level of detail
will depend on the level of complexity of the program/organization that you are creating.
IMPLEMENT
Identify ways in which your program/organization will advocate for the population that you serve. Be specific in your advocacy
techniques that you will utilize and use research to explain why you believe that these are the most effective techniques with
this population.
EVALUATE
Share how you plan to evaluate the plan (program) you developed.
How will you use data to evaluate effectiveness?
What specific outcomes will be important to proving the effectiveness of your services? In other words, how will you know that your program/organization is effective?
How will you ensure the quality of the program/organization is strong and continuously seeking ways to make improvements?
Writing Guidelines:
Title, reference and appendix pages (not part of the total 10-12 page count)
Running head and pagination
Must be double-spaced with 1-inch margins and typed in 12-point Times New Roman
Paper should be proofread for spelling and grammar mistakes
Use APA style format.
You must cite all texts used, including page numbers to avoid plagiarism
Your paper must have a thesis statement and conclusion, which are supported by research and analysis.
Use at least 10 scholarly publications in your paper. You may also use any of the learning resources provided in this course.
