to better understand how labor unions became an important part of the business in the United StatesIn a short paper, summarize the highlights of both the video and article in your own words. You should include a paragraph on each of the following:

Historical factors leading to the rise of unions.

Response of employees and government to these working conditions.

Problems that eventually arose in the labor unions.

The current role of unions and your opinion on their importance.

Writing assignments should be a minimum of 500 words long and should not be submitted in a question/answer format. This paper should have an introductory and concluding paragraph along with at least one paragraph on any bullet point topics (if the assignment has them.). Refer to relevant sections of the textbook when possible and cite any additional sources you use at the end of your paper.
